Your car will not perform as well in the heat that is for sure. What was the temp difference between your first and second dyno?

Yeah, that is about what my car feels like it looses, about 10 hp per 10 degree increase in temperature.

By the way it works the other way also. Man!, You should feel the way my Vette pulls on a 10 degrees Cold Connecticut day in the Winter! Like shot of NOS!

Just out of my curiousity, was the 450 an average of more that 1 pull, or 1 pull only, or the highest reading of more than one pull?
Same set of questions for the 409 figure?
And was this all performed on the same dyno, or different dynos?
There is a noticable diffedrence on the way my Z06 runs on a cool day as compared to a hot day, but I would have enver guessed that there was that much difference.

Without further information, I think that it is quite possible for some of that loss to be variations in the dyno readings. I know very little regarding this, but I have never seen any information verifing that dynos can be/are calibrated after their purchase. There was another thread going on very similiar to this one about a week ago on CF here somewhere. The person had dyno'd their car a short time before with high results, then had their car dialed in on an LS1 Edit with somewhat different results, indicating that the first dyno did read high. The first dyno was not a ls1 edit program. Just a thought.

Thanks for the info, and oops, my bad regarding the way that I posted the occurance of events surrounding the dyno runs resulting in different readings. The first dyno run was taken directly after the pcm was modified by something other than LS1 Edit. The second dyno was done on a different dyno directly after the pcm being modified by an LS1 edit. So if dynometers never get or require calibration, then that implies that there is never any way that one can come up with incorrest readings? Providing everything else is correct and in proper working order? Thanks in advance for the info.
