C Lock recall
Just got my recall notice from GM for the column lock problem.
2000 FRC MN6 .
Apparently the recall is still going for those of you wondering if you your going to get one or not.

I've been happy with my CLB for a long, long time and GM is not getting a chance to screw it up with their lame azz "fix".

Recieved the recall last week for my 98 A4. Work was done Monday. The steering wheel now does not lock when the key is removed. I don't have to worry about it ever locking up and don't need the CLB. Yea.

If you have a 97-2000 A4 the column lock will be disabled...
If you have a 99-00 M6 the PCM will be reprogramend and some enhanced wiring will be installed to the BCM (if you were not involved in the 1st recall)...
If you have a 2001-04 M6 you only get the PCM reprogram...
If you have a 1997-98 M6,you are still out of luck because those will be recalled at a later date...
