Vortex Ram Install....Help please!
Hi,
I just bought a Vortex Ram Air Cleaner and Power Duct. I don't usually do this kind of stuff working on my car. Is this a set of eaiser instructions on how to do this rather then what comes with it? I'm hoping for something really simplified. Any help would be appreciated.

Just be real careful - the template they supplied (at least to me about three years ago) is off a bit. Eyeball things really well before you do any cutting. It's a great product, but the instructions are lousy.

I did mine about 3-4 years ago. The template I got was OK from what I remember. I would suggest fitting the system together before you make the cut to make sure it goes together properly. If you cut too high, you will have a problem with the powerduct hitting the hood as you close it. It was pretty easy, just make sure you have a good quality utility knife.
