2002 Z06 advice.... suggestions?
Hi C5ers-
I have been thinking about trading in my sedan for a Z06. Of course, my wife tells me the my sedan is nicer and reminds me I have a 70 awaiting completion. I came across this sale and wanted to know if all of you think it is a good deal. It seems to be very new and not driven very much.

I have a '69 and an '02 Z06. Love the 427 side pipe car around town, but love to drive the Z anywhere for any length of time.
Ditch the sedan and buy the Z. Then lower it, looks like it sits higher than my Z71 truck!

The ZO6 is a very unique car! 405 hp is nothing to sneeze at! The car ROCKS! PERIOD!!! Until I drove one I would NOT have been willing to spend the extra money on 40 more HP! 
Once I test drove the Z
it really lived up to it's name FRC "Factory Race Car!!!!!!!!!!!!
Now I am anxiously awaiting the arrival of the C6 ZO6 500 HP with $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ to make the purchase 
Ditch the old IRON and get some new JUICE!!
Here is some MORE supporting evidence!!!!

The new Z06 will have 500+ HP? How much will is cost? Now I really have decisions. I don't have kids yet... but will soon I am sure. Here is a pick of my "IRON". It is a 2002 with only 20K miles. My wife loves it because she has this in exact car but in SUV form... I was quoted private resale for trade in price, which is great because I owe a lot less. Maybe I should wait for the 2006 Z06?

I know, I know... two different types of cars. I almost bought the Z06 in 02, but drove this and the ride and handling with the my AMG 18's is just great for a sedan.... I wish I could have both! hee hee

GM may not quite live up to the 500+ HP they promise but they have said that it will be close! The weight of the car is "SUPPOSE" to be even lighter than the base C5 so,,,,, the power to weight ratio will be JUST what the doctor ordered!! 
Price has NOT been released yet but hopefully it will be realistic!
If you can wait for the C6 ZO6, that would be my recommendation! Start socking bucks in the Z account!!!
I will be getting the 07 ZO6 in the Datona Sunset Orange skin!

We have already seen the test mule with the drapes on it and it lookes like it has bulgded rear fenders That means W I D E rear tires to put the HP/TQ to the road. Only time will tell! I will be at the C5/C6/ZO6 Birthday bash in Bowling Green this spring to get the first sighting!! 
All ZO6 's are FRC The C6 will be FRC also
