READY to order my first 'vette in 1969, age 22. Insurance had other ideas for me (car payments would have been the SAME as insurance!!).
FINALLY got my first 'vette (2001 coupe) in May, 2004.
Was accused of having my second childhood.
Told 'em I wasn't done with my first!!
Finally bought a new C5 four months ago at 48. Almost bought a '66 thirteen years ago, had a daughter instead. Worked out well in the long run, since now I have a great car and a great kid.
From the looks of the replies, never too old or too young to enjoy.
Our daughter keeps telling us we're going through mid-life crisis!! If that's what it is, at least we're both in it together!!
Scott & I are both the same age (41) but "officially" I'm still 29 and holding! He got his first Vette last July. I got my first one last October and then traded it June for my current Vette. Life is Good!!
birthday info is just another piece of info that can be used in identity theft. it'd be nice just to have the year only, so we can more easily be flagged as old geezers.
That is also the reason why I don't show my tag or discuss tag options - you have no idea what kind of damage can be done until someone gets ahold of your birthday and tag number.
