Default Z06 Deal??

If you wouldn't mind, please give me the highest dollar amount you would consider to be a good deal, when purchasing a new Z06 from a dealer. Assume an MSRP of about $52,500. You get to keep the current $3,000 incentive. (before tax and liscense). Just curious. Thanks.

Many will undoubtedly disagree. But for me, based on the information that many folks have posted here very recently, $40-41K MAX. If you do some research, and are patient, it appears that $38-39K is doable. Good luck.

It's too late for me I would sure like to know what dealerships in CA you've been able to find that will sell you a 2004 Z06 that far below invoice. I tried but could not find any dealership in the SF bay area or even down south that would do it.

I just bought my 04 MS Z06 for 44.8K (49K out the door) and I'm a happy camper...

Oh, I paid cash for my Z06 and even that wasn't good enough for the dealerships that I dealt with!!

NOT GOING TO HAPPEN. Most of the 04 Z06's are sold except for maybe a few Black and silver models. $41K to $42K is the lowest anyone will find and if you wait much longer they will all be sold.

ALL the new Z06 2004's are gone in Canada.
Canadian dealers did NOT order as many 2004s as compared to the 2003-z06s'.

I believe several LeMans Blue special edtion are only left.
(more money too..!)

Bill.

THE END OF THE Z06-C5 !
Now you must wait for the C6-Z06 or find a used Z06-c5!
It had to happen.

The dealer invoice in this vehicle is around $46K. Do you really think they will sell for $41K???

Thats about what I paid for mine back in April. Thanks for your post, with all this talk about $38,000 I was a little bummed out. I believe that may have happened in several cases, but I got a quote from Fichner as well back in April, whos a great guy, and even he wasnt anywhere near that.

Supplier cost was $46,885.89 (BSM and memory option with dimming mirrors)
Got mine in June for 42,885.89. That was GM supplier cost with 3K rebate and 1K for loyalty program.
For some reason, many on here think the dealers are giving them away... just not so...
Very happy with my deal from a local dealership...

Best offer made to me was msrp - 5000 and take off another 4000 for rebate and loyalty. That is sticker price (just a little over 52,000) - 9000. That was for a Z06, not a Z16.

New 2004 Corvette Z06
$44,740
MSRP $53335
Kerbeck Discount $5595
GM Rebate $3000
in lieu of GMAC Special Financing
Total Savings $8595
You Pay $44740

This is on their website for anyone looking for a Z, They have 4 left and this is where I bought my Z16 from. It was discounted $12,500.00 They told me 80% of their business is from out of state.
Oh, and they are great to deal with. Straight forward and no

They took care of the taxes and tag transfer.

Bought our Z06 in Los Gatos for 47k out the door just last month. All they have left is Z16's and I know if I wanted another I'd deal just like I did on the first one. Took all of 30min. to make a deal. As it was, I was litteraly out the door with them calling me back. No trade in either.

This was almost exactly the deal I got from a Washington DC area dealer in March.

There are probably a handlful of $39-41K deals around, but they are the exception not the rule.

43k to 45k is a very good price. It is hard to compare price from deal to deal. Some guys traded cars , some paid cash, different tax rate for state to state etc. I have just picked my z16 here in ny. I was about to go to kerbeck ,when I tried the last of about 12 local guys. I walked in looked at the build date for the car, it was 3/04. I said kerbeck is 12,500 of msrp. I am going fri to buy the car. can you beat it. They matched the price and gave me a exhaust plate for free. all the other dealers in ny don't come close. the want 52k, 49k was the lowest before this deal.Do a gm search for a z and call on the price.I waited 7 months for my deal. but the regular z's are few and far between.
ps I love this car so much more then my vert, I almost wish I got it sooner. GOOD LUCK

That's a total load of cr** about anyone gettine a Z for under 40K, don't believe it. With every possible incentive in the book you'll be lucky to see 43K.
