This is like a biker C5 forum (ha, ha)
OK guy's I get the message... but are you sure you got the part that said the next one is for my "better half".

I'm sure there are a few of you out there that realize the importance of that statement!

ahh - haa. Yes, a totally different situation

I presume that your wife will want an automatic; and if that's the case, then buy her one without the column lock installed. I know for certain that 2002 and newer C5's with A4 didn't come from the factory with the column lock.

Maybe this included model year 2001 also ???

if you can buy a 2002 to 2004 based on piston ring change and minor updates. watch out for the very early 2002 produced cars-some do not have the new ring design. let HER pick the body style.
