Mike 04, Good way to describe the Z, My thoughts also, Like driving a superbike the acceleration is incredible. I wonder how these guys & gals who mod them out for sometimes much more RWHP can handle them on the street.
Its up to you. but here is my 2cents.
1. big price difference, a coupe with a z51 ,and a few ops is about50k without tax.
2. look up the gas crossover pipe problem some late 2004 are having ,as it is the new set up that all the c6's are going to have.gas leaks out when you fill up.
3.chevy always adds some new option the next year anyway...a few hp,maybe a new wheel etc.
4.I dont like the look of the c6, or the sound of the stock exhaust, very quiet.
5.If you have not driven a zo6, you really should as it will make up your mind for you!!!!.
get the zo6, in a couple of years you can always trade up. Alot guys paid alot more then you can do right now.
