Stinger/x-pipe performance increase
In my previous post, where I showed my stinger/x-pipe install, I had promised to post my thoughts about any performance increases.
Well, I now believe there is a fairly substantial performance improvement.
My only previous performance mod was a Donaldson Blackwing, which I installed about 6 months ago.
On Friday I installed Borla Stingers plus a Magnaflow x-pipe.
I definitely notice a SOTP improvement, and it's not just that the sound is "fooling me".
Driving around town, you get to know how fast you get up to speed around certain turns, on certain straightaways, etc, as well as how the car feels. Performance gains in all those familiar places have proved to me that I got a nice improvement with the upgraded exhaust.
A very nice bonus over the great sound - which I would have installed even if there was no performance bump!
