Default How Often Do You Detail?

Detailed our Acura 3.2TL yesterday and realized two things. One, I do the Vette about 3-4 times a week, vs maybe once every two months for the other. Two, *** cars have fantastic paint. Is this detailing ritual usual? Am I loving my Vette too much, or is it just because mine's Black. How often do you detail?

I "detail" mine once a week. I don't always intend to detail it, but once I get part of it nice and shiny, it makes another part look bad if it's not perfect, so I always end up doing the whole thing, inside and out, top to bottom and underneath.

I keep on top of mine..I never take it out unless it is right..
wheel wells clean tires dressed, dusted , cleaned with a few drops of water.. windows clean etc.. wheels spotless, inner barrels spotless.it really doesnt take long unless you get caught in rain... then its a several hour detailing...atleast for me.. I hever put the car way without going over it. Retired can have so many advantages time wise...

I clean mine about every two weeks, more often if I drive it a lot. Wax goes on about twice a year.

Seems a little excessive to me.....

I wash my baby once to twice a week.....

Wax when i feel it needs it....twice a month, sometimes more or less depending on the weather.

I know what you mean, it starts off w/ a quick little shower for the car, then it turns into a full detail w/ the vaccum, glass cleaner, tire dressing, etc.....

Yeah, about the same. I'll clean any crud or bugs I might pick up off the car instantly.

I wash it once a week, and detail about once a month. I would imagine that with black though, it would need a little more TLC. I'd love to have the time to do it more often but then my Tahoe get's jealous, and that's a pain to detail.

1 x a week (wash) Detail every other week. Its ridiculous how much time I spend on my car.And we are talking anywhere from 2 to 10 hours at a time.

Yes,I am obsessed, but damn, look at my ride!

California duster and detail spray just about every day. I have a professional detailer come to my home every three months for the heavy work. Never drive a dirty vette

I wash mine around once a week, maybe twice, depending on weather and how much I drive it. I wax it when I feel it needs it, but Ive only had my C5 for about 3 weeks I just picked up a California Car Duster yesterday so this should help me keet it looking better after I visit my g/f's house (whom lives on a unpaved road ) My g/f says thinks Im a little obsessive/**** when it comes to keeping my car clean

Everytime I wash it, I end up applying Zaino again. Honestly, next time it'll just be a wash and dry routine.
