Use a battery tender and don't worry about it.

This assumes the battery is serviceable, not leaking and reliable AC power is available in your garage.

If no AC power, an older battery and/or a potential leaker, get it out of there!!!

It probably wouldn't hurt to disconnect it, but I have let mine sit for 2 months here in the Chciago Tundra during Jan and Feb with consistent below 0 temps, and it started fine...I just didn't arm the alarm...but after reading posts about leaking etc...this winter I will probably either change battries or remove mine..its an 01.

Hi, Bought Battery Butler from Lectric Limited Inc. Direction say if car is computer controlled, disconnect positive side from battery prior to using charger. I thought it was the negative side. Which is correct ? Save the Wave. Thanks.George

Bring it to me. I'll keep it under roof each night and keep the battery charged daily - shouldn't take more than 100 miles or so to get it done right!!
