It's chrome plated plastic.
Of all the chrome items I have on my car, it is easily the best plating work I've seen, absolutely flawless and durable finish.
It's a pricey piece, but what a dramatic difference it makes.

How does it attach and how difficult is it to install (I am sometimes very mechanically challanged).
Installs easily. The plenum cover is 2 pieces, the seam is hidden under the fuel line that crosses over the manifold.
First remove the fuel rail covers (they just snap off).
Then drop in the rear pc of the pleum cover...you have to flex it a little bit and kind of put it at an angle to get it to pop into place, but it's not difficult and it fits perfectly. The front part of the cover installs the same. As you get them to drop in place, you'll where the small ears on the covers slip over existing studs/bolts on the fuel rail assemply...Kewl includes the washers/nuts needed to attach to these points.
Then reinstall your rail covers and you're all set.

Don't be in a hurry if you decide you want one. I ordered on July 8 and the chrome company was telling Greg at Kewl that I'm looking at another 3-4 weeks for my backordered chrome plenum cover. Greg did send the rest of my order to me super-quick, as he had all of my Lemans Blue stuff in stock!
As for the chrome plenum cover - judge for yourself from the pictures above, but I think it's worth the wait!!!

Those are some good lookin' engines above!
So have you installed the rest of it yet Brandon? If so, how does it look? I got my stuff in from Vetteshoppe last week and have installed all but the radiator cover, which will be installed when I do the Vararam this weekend. Then it's off to Carlisle to buy a bunch of chrome goodies to complement.
See ya at the A&W Tomorrow?

Same here - all but the Rad Cover. Would have gotten to that this week, but we've been replacing siding and trim to prep for the roofers tomorrow. Finally getting my July 14 tornado damage fixed!
BTW - You've missed the last couple of Friday's where we could have used 1 or 2 more folks to go for a cruise... It's been a park and sit since the last run in July.
