Default Mixing tires?

I have a 99 A4 vert with firestone runflats. I have to use runflats because I can't take a chance of being without my ride due to my job.

I'm getting a blower soon and I know I'll be having hook up issues as a result. My back tires are very worn and I need to buy new ones. Fronts are good for now. I'm debating about another pair of firestones vs Michelin runflats. Any ideas? Is it a very poor idea to have different make tires on the back compared to the front?

Thanks for the input!

I had a 92 with mixed tires. You could definately feel the difference in the ride. I wouldn't do it again.

You shouldn't have a problem with mixing brands as long as all 4 or either run-flats or non run-flats.

Thanks for the input. I had read the above link which helped, but I'd still like some input on Michelin vs Firestone tires on the rear for wear and traction issues.
