I am new here - but a Vette veteran for sure - I am curious as how other Vette owners keep their cars stone-chip free - I have some friends who could not care less - a chip, so that they say - I am a zealot when it comes to my car - and I do not like chips - Man if they only run road cleaners twice a week all the debris would be gone.
Also, those construction trucks are a nightmare to follow on a highway - you know the type, carrying sand with a small cover at the top and u can hear the sand striking your car and windshield - like fine mist - at 70 MPH its like sandblasting your paint Job - I wish they required better covers on those trucks – and also, when other drivers change lines right in front of you (cut u off) The dirt and stones in the middle goes all over the car – that is because the well traveled path is usually clear while the area between the lanes usually gets less tire travel and hence has more junk and the Vette being so darn low is a magnet for this crap - oh well - again I am curious as to how some of the Vette lovers here avoid this..
Ps: I used LeBras (too ugly and does not cover enough - traps moister etc) - I tried the clear plastic stuff and that is really a pain to apply and I am not sure if it will really come off w/o taking some of the paint with it - Maybe Chevy can come up with something - I liked the clear bras that were made of solid plastic - but that company has since folded - Cheers - Nick.

I have a navy coupe so any scratches or paint chips really stand out.
I use the 3M Paint Protection Film on my Vette. I think that this is the best paint protection available on the market. Be ready to pay anything from $400 - $600 for full kit, installed. Had it professionally done (highly recommend), some two years ago and love it. Once installed, it's nearly invisible. Check out this dude's site, has some extra info: click

I had the nose done last year, then just recently had it applied behind all 4
wheels and the lower rocker panel, great stuff! Just be careful when
waxing around the seams, the wax builds up there and causes the seam to
become more noticeable (polymers aren't as bad).

I use a GM bra to help protect mine. Good coverage at a decent price. You can also try products like Cleartastic which will cover more areas than the bra.
Thanks all, Good ideas here I will follow up - I wish these clear covers can come as options from the factory - I would be nice to buy a car and have it "protected" so u dont have to worry about your investment !
