Personally, I think splashguards are like bug deflectors. They don't belong on a corvette!

I'm with you. Benefits definetely outweigh
the looks. Looks like they will blend right in
with the tires. I also like the flat look rather than the moulded type.

Don't have any pictures handy, but I have teh splash guards from Ecklers on my car. They are part number 35190. Works well and are a direct bolt on, no drilling required.

I ordered a set from Mid America , they were molded and painted to match the car. They seemed to be very good quality, but when I held them up to the fender of the car,.................well I just couldn't get myself to bolt MUD FLAPS onto a Corvette........

Drive the car like ya stole it........and every 2-3 years, have the rocker panels painted for 300 bucks.

Well.........I guess if you guys drove your yellow car every day in all weather, drag race it, auto x it........you might understand the road rash it gets...........not just the rocker panels either

I have red, and so called mud flaps on it,,,I like the fact it protects the car and rockers from chips,, the molded one look ok to me,, I would rather spend 69.00 once , than 300 every so may years to paint.. but down side is speed bumps, a tall one will wipe out the molded ones and a fender (front) be carful,,,,if you like them do it, its your car,,,,I hated drilling the holes, but hye, its over now,, oh, I also have a wing,,,yup, I dont car, its my car,,,but I have blower to back it up

I have a 99 Arctic white with white splash gaurds and i think they look great. We were caravaning the other day and a guy in a Z06 behind me said the car looked buff from behind, the gaurds gave it a hard look.

Default cleartastics

best type of mud guard is NONE. Use Cleartastics to protect your inner and outer portion of your front quarters, use inner and outer to protect the rear portion of your rear quarters, and use the rocker pannel piece to protect the rocker just in front of your rear tire. their static cling so they can be installed an removed whenever you want and discarded and replaced when they get to trashed to clean and for the price you can't beat them. wcj

Sometimes people amaze me. A poster asked for a picture or two what he wanted to see and he got opinions thrown at him too.

Here is mine, the mudguards are from Mid-America. I put some "weatherstripping" between the fenders and the "flaps", so the flaps actually don't touch any painted surface.

My apology that the car isn't white and the pictures are not focused on the mudguards.

Yours are exactly what I am looking for. Would you still have the catalog # from your order. I knew this ? would offer itself to a lot of debate but I have come to accept it. Also is there any "drilling" required. Thanks for the pics. I'll post a pic of mine when I get them...
