Last night I had some free time and went for a drive. I passed this Classic Cruise that meets every Thursday. Decided to stop by and saw a sign, 1979 cutoff. As I rolled towards the entrance, I said to the guy "Guess I don't meet the cutoff" and he says "Vettes are always welcome". Hot stuff, pulled in and enjoyed a great night.

Out here in the Valley of the Sun - there is a weekly car show at the Scottsdale Pavillions. They've had all sorts of problems with the "Fast & Furious" crowd doing burnouts, playing their "thump, thump" obnoxious music too loud and generally making azzholes of themselves.
The show organizers made a statement over the P.A. system stating that the show was for classic cars only - 25 years old or more. All of us Vette guys got pizzed and approached them, and their comment was - "NO, NOT THE VETTES!!!! We want you guys!"
