Default Bear brake kit questions.

I put on the baer eradispeeds cross drilled and slotted w/ ceramic pads last august and they are apparently warped allready. Car pulsates when slowing down. I do not autocross or drag race. Occasionally race on the street. Yesterday i was against a WRX STI and after a few runs to 95 and hitting the brakes somewhat hard they felt like mush and pulsated. I guess ill need to replace the rotors, but this seems pretty quick for brakes to go out. Maybe put 12K miles on my car. What rotors do u all recommend...i wish i could get the brembos but they wont fit on our wheels.

Stoptech has a good white paper on the myth of warped rotors that you should read but their website is down right now so I'll foward that to you later.

Regardless, even if your Baer's are warped, they are guaranteed not to warp for life so you need to contact Baer and talk to their rep about your problem.

Did you remove all of the rust before you put the new rotors on. That would cause the pulsing. The mushy pedal is nothing that a good bleed wouldn't take care of

I have Baer Cross Drilled & Slotted rotors with the original pads. There is 33,000 miles on the pads and about 27,000 on the rotors. No warping here.

Did you season the rotors by following Baer's proceedure? Did you Bed the pads?

This is one of the reasons I bought the Baer's. Contact the company and get a new set if they are in fact warped.

i was told by chevy...they do not know which one it is but say it is usually the front. They would have to take the wheels off to see if its warped. i seasoned them normally.
