Antenna mod?
I like the look of my car when the power antenna is down. Anyone know how to change it so it only goes up when you're listening to the radio and not when you're listening to CD's? Thanks.

I used these instructions in the Tech Tips section to install a power antenna in my Z06 and also wire in a toggle switch to control the antenna with.
If you read on down near the bottom of write up, it will explain how to do this. Here's the link.

I basically cut the pink wire that goes to the antenna in the trunk and ran the two wires I solder to the cut pink wires under the trunk carpet up under the center glove console to the traction control console then just put a push switch from radio shack on the traction control console. I did put radio quick disconnects on it in case I had to remove the traction control console or hid it from the dealership. Works great. I listen mostly to CD's so mine stays down most of the time but with a flick of a switch, it acts like stock. The switch other have mention may be cleaner, mine was simple and cost about $5 total and about 1 hours time. Email me if you better details.
