Corrosion on C5 rims
I just bought a 2001 C5 with stock polish rims (I don't think they are chrome). There are some errosion which I believe is due to salt on the road in New England winters. I have used chrome polish to remove most of them already but there are some nicks and marks that won't go away. Can someone provide advice of whether my wheels can be repair/repolish or do I have to buy new ones. Thanks in advance.

An advantage of polished wheels, is that they can be rebuffed, which will take out many marks, depending upon their depth. Can't help you beyond that though in terms of finding someone in your area that can do it.

By taking the clearcoat off you can repolish the wheels.
