Default Just some thoughts!

I have had my Convertible for a little over a month now! I take it almost everywhere. I know I usually have the best looking car in the parking lot, and that it "sticks out like a sore thumb" and gets noticed alot. I still cannot believe I am the one walking toward that car, and I have the keys to it! It still gives me a giddy feeling!

I have the same feeling with mine, even after 3 1/2 years. Hope it never goes away for you.

This is my third vette ('73, '95, '04) and I still get that feeling. Counting all three combined - I've had a vette for 10+ years... Still love that feeling I get when I start that sucker up!

I still suffer from perma-grin and feel great seeing her in my garage ... it's only been a year and a half! It's normal!

I feel the exact same way...the perfect ending to my day at work is to see the Vette sitting there waiting for me...everywhere else I go too...star struck and grinning here! I really love on the occasions that the top comes off and Tom and I go cruising...the best of times---hate what it does to my hair but I will get over it!

Yep, I know that feeling well. My wife teases me about it when I look back at my TR Coupe after we park it and head inside wherever we are going. When I tell her how good she looks in it (and she really does she doesn't tease as much...!

This is not my first Corvette although I have not owned one for a few years. I have a very difficult time not driving mine every day. It is an '00 and just turned 15K. I want to keep the miles down but at the same time want to get it out every time I leave the house. My R/T to work is 50 miles and I only take it once or twice a week. I have a trip coming up in a couple of days through Sedona to Flagstaff, very twisty. That should be enough to get me through the next work week.
