I assume you are talking about the part similar to the C4's. I had one on my C4 and it was a waste of money. The one I have seen for the C5 is a black piece that slides into the throttle body mouth and is supposed to increase the cfm of the throttle body. I'd use the $50 for something else. I don't know what year Vette you have, but if you want more air, I'd use the money on the air filter, air bridge or a larger mass air flow meter. My $0.02.

Do you mean for the front of the car under the front bumper that is a "splitter or air dam". Or on the rear deck is a "Wing" or the 2 to 4" lip off the rear deck is a "spoiler." Or something else?? Sorry for the sumantics but it would help to clarify what you are asking??
