You all without RUN CRAPS...
And the vast majority of cars on the road do not need a flatbed.
And 99.99% of the cars on the road aren't worth as much as a C5.
True, runflats may only have 90% of the sticking ability of the non-runflats but unless something runs out in front of me I'll never test the limits of the runflats.
I see runflats as cheap insurance.

I'm trying to figure this out. Does this mean that every Z06 owner has no common sense?
I'm sorry but I'm not going to put up with 10 cent (runcrap) tires on a $45,000.00 car. Fortunately there are other runflats that are designed in this decade.
I have a mini-compressor, which I picked up from Pepboys for around $20-$30, and a small 3-3/4" hydraulic jack, for about the same amount, a cell phone, and the factory sensors.First of all, do not drive on a totally flat tire, and if it is a nail flat, DO NOT pull the nail, or the following will not work for you:
Once the DIC shows a "flat" condition, plan on stopping to air up the tire, until you can reach a suitable and safe tire repair facility.
Even if you should need to stop more than once, your total combined exposure out on the open road will be less than trying to fix it by the highway, and will be in a different location each time(for areas considered to be dangerous to be broken down near, or incidents in the wee hours of the morning, i.e. 2a.m. etc).
If it is a more serious condition(ripped tire sidewall or something), then it will be time for a call to roadside assistance(can't be plugged anyway).
Running Bridgestone S03 pole position, no flats yet.
