Default Column gauges...any pics...

I have planned what may be another Tuner Golf Tour...
...but the idea is to install column gauges... Well actually the plan is to install boost and fuel gauges to measure performance of my Magna Charger...
...I know there are some creative folks around CF who may have found other alternative locations for the gauges..

any pics or suggestions...?

Hey Stuart- I have only done the gauges on the pillar. I have done the stick on gauge pillar ( uses 2 sided tape to stock pillar) and the replacement pillar. It is very much worth the extra few bucks to get the replacement piece. It fits better and doesn't look like an after thought. I dont really know of many other places to install gauges. Maybe in the ashtray area???

Thanks ! yea I looked at some alternative pieces before leaning on the replacement A pillar ...its not exactly the same but very close...

The ashtray was a thought but someone said that taking your eyes off the road was the drawback...
I even looked at placing in my highrise hood...but I noticed the other day that it is really dark under the lip and then discovered that these gauges are not waterproof! ...no one has shown me an alternative yet....
hmmmm... maybe thats because there isnt one...
..still love your vette!

Oh yeah. He does have a Vette. I didn't get past the motorcycle picture. At least I think I saw a motorcycle.

Anyway, didn't you like the pillar gauges Mike's place had put on the black Z06 down there? They looked like original equipment and easily seen.

yes sir...I sat in the Z06 and there is a little difference in the material or texture... I was at first concern that the gauges were going to be too close to your hands on the steering wheel...but after sitting behind the wheel and lowering the steering column it was fine...

I ordered the replacement pillar and gauges but if there is an alternative I wanted to make the move now...
...They will put the gauges behind the ashtray door but that would require me to look down for feedback... it would be cool....Mike doesnt think it would be a good idea...
soooo...Im back to the pillar idea That was quite a circle
