Squealing belts and things
As many threads I have read, I think there is a problem that has not been address. Gatorback belts quiet the problem, but it is still there. It may be the dust shield, mine is not. I have had Chevy replace the belt and tensioner, only to have the problem come back in a month. There has to be a fix out there, not a "well I think it's this" for $600 or more. Someone has to have the answer.
