Default Looking for more accessories!

I have tried searching and looking in the store, Corvettes of Houston and LAPD but haven't found what I'm looking for.

What I would really like to find is a clear acrylic nose cone to go over the obligatory plate we unfortunate Europeans have to have. I've got my plate recessed so it's not too bad, but my friend has got a plate carrier that is almost as big as the rest of his 'vette. We'd like to look a little more smooth, if you know what I mean.

Any help greatly appreciated.

If this is what you're looking for check out West Coast Corvette.

Apart from always remembering to keep a Corvette in the garage, joining this forum was one of the best things I have ever done!

Thanks for the info, it looks like the one from West Coast Corvette is the business (sad English expression for 'the right thing'), but Mr Pewter Coupe do you have a link for Mid America?

Now, Sandy (that's my pal) was wondering about those replacement headlights . . I can understand why; his 01 A4 is always covered in mud . .

What country in Europe?

You'll find, as I have, that some suppliers won't supply to Europe as their on-line system won't accommodate it. Mid America Motorworks do as I've just ordered a shifter and some other stuff through them. Corvettes Of Houston will supply but you have to fax your order.

If you're in the UK, you can do what I did which is keep the cover which is held on by two screws at the bottom. Go to B&Q and buy their brass "step-shaped" clips, hammer it flat and bend it into a shape to hang a plate on. I buy the smaller plate from www.autoreg.net who are incredibly quick and cheap.

Thanks Silver2002, I'll check that out.

LuS1fer -nice reg by the way - hope you're not in bonny Scotland, the plod there are psychos . . . and all those hidden cameras. Do you have a Road Angel? - so many of the new traps don't use laser or radar.

I'm currently living in France, the Dordogne. My friend Sandy who is a technophobe (he has a computer but thinks that it's a stand for putting gin and tonics on) lives in a village about 5 miles away.

I've had stuff from Corvettes of Houston, I just 'phoned them, but it's useful to know that Mid America will do sales online.

I think we'll have to go for the clear nose cones as the Gendrames have no sense of humour (I mean if you had to wear a hat that daft, would you?) and guns.

I might order a showplate from autoreg.net, so thanks for the link.
