You are not kidding it is a good fit.My husband asked me if i got the mirror covers to and i told him i cant afford them yet i was only kidding he dosen't know what the bra costs and i dont know if i want the mirror covers or not.Do you have one of their bras?If you do is it very difficult to take off when the car has to be washed i mean it was not easy getting the thing on.Thank you charlene
Charlene: Lay your Speed Lingerie bra out in the sun for at least 30 minutes before trying to install it. It will become more pliable that way.
Drape it across the front of the car hanging by the two little bands on each side. Make sure it is fitting under the nose of the car. Fasten one side (you will probably have to turn your wheels).
Then pull it to the other side far enough to wrap around into the wheel well. The more you can pull around and get into the well - the easier it slides onto the clip. Make sure the top clips are fastened and again that the bottom is under the front of the car.
Getting them off is easy. Make your husband do it.
We have the Speed Lingerie bras for both Vettes. Yes, they're tough to get on by yourself, especially if they're brand new. They really need to be sitting out in the sun to become more pliant. We've found they're a lot easier to put on that way.
One thing...do not keep them on!!! Even though Speed Lingerie is one of, if not the very, best, no bra should be kept on for any length of time except for long trips. If you get any moisture in between the bra and the nose, you might be in for some paint problems!! Make a habit of only using it when traveling. Then, take it off!
Now that I've spoken my piece, we have to get our bras off. We just came home from a Corvette weekend in New Hampshire (150 miles), and the bras need to be removed.
