I say make your own, I did and it looks great. It's less expensive and about a hour worth of work. If you do a search you'll find several "How To" post on the exact process.

I made my own for about $25.00. Yes, it does help the noise issue by about 60%. I have a 99 hardtop. My partition looks great and does the job. Here is what you do:
1. Cut a pattern out of cardboard and make sure it "fits" snuggly.
2. Make a wood partition by cutting a piece of particle board using the cardboard pattern as a guide.
3. Go to an upholstrey shop and buy the matching fabric material of your interior (this should cost you about $15) and some spray contact cement (about $5.00). The shop will tell you what kind of spray adhesive to get and you can probably buy it from them. Glue the material to the particle board. The shop can show you how to do this. If not, perhaps they will do it for you at a fraction of the cost of buying a new partition.
My partition just sits nicely in the space under the back window. I did not want to fix it permanently. I had a friend to purchased a partition from some place for about $250 and it did not fit. It was a waste of money. If you have questions, please post them and I will help you along in this process.
Buy one for about $100 from Ecklers - I did. Take a look.
Or you can spend over $400 on a custom super delux partition from "Andy" (not sure he's a CF supporting vendor).
The one I bought from Ecklers fits nice an tight, doesn't require and drilling, looks great and cuts most of the road and exhaust noise from the rear of the car.
Thanks... do you happen to have the pattern laying around???
John
.
i was going to build my own partition, ended up buying andy's partition with the plexi-glass (machine silver) insert and threw on a Z06 emblem. this thing looks awsome, but i did buy the pattern from chris (fixedroofcoupe). if your looking to do it yourself shoot me your address and ill mail it to you

Check out this link. This guy is a forum member and came up with a nice partition. Members who have tried it really seem to like its looks and the decreased road noise.

Though I'm completely capable and have everything needed at my fingertips to build one, I'm going to order one from exoticvette.com, he has one very inexpensive and it looks like a very nice piece.
My time is too valuable (though it'll probably take only an hour) and to be honest, I'd rather buy a professional piece that someone has already done for what he's asking...
