FYI...They stopped bringing us here by boat 'round about the early 1800's. I suppose all would have been well had it been a "European American" who did the damage...
Of course your driving had absolutely nothing to do with it..i.e..following too closely, going too fast to take evasive action, etc...
Here we go with the "I've been picked on and you owe me" crap. That kind of crap remark really needs to stay out of here.
The ease with which one can get a driver's license in this country is startling.....driving is a priviledge, not a right and it would be better to treat it as such.....better driver's ed, etc. I believe the costs would be recouped in insurance savings, etc.
Another long term solution whcih will never see the light of day.....
You should get a Lawyer and go to hospital. Tell the doctor that you fell pain in your shoulder and neck area. Have his insurance pay for all. This give him a lesson.
Hmmmm. Seems a lot of people slammin' this guy but answer this one for me. Some people who are bashing in this very thread have advised forum members with modified cars who are having mechanical problems to remove all the mods from their car and reinstall all the OEM equipment and parts before they take their car to the dealer to try and obtain repairs under warranty. What's the difference? Seems a bit of dishonesty and fraud either way.

Eating grapes at the grocery store is illegal too.

So let me get this straight. You are comparing someone who removes a mod to their car that may have caused engine damage before taking their car to the dealer for repair under warranty to eating grapes at the grocery store?
So let me get this straight. You are comparing someone who removes a mod to their car that may have caused engine damage before taking their car to the dealer for repair under warranty to someone who fakes an injury in hopes they will be able to win a law suit, so that they can collect a financial windfall?

Theft is theft. The intentions are the same. More people are convicted for small value theft, having more money in their pockets than the value of the item.

I believe that's what I said. Both are cases of lying, deceit, fraud, etc. in order to receive monies for what they shouldn't.

I hope this was directed at someone else.
I've have not been picked on, I was just unlucky. He does owe me though, he caused the accident. But he just owes the damages to the car. Nothing more , nothing less.

You're right. Basically, if you have to hide, change, or provide false information, you are probably trying to get something that you are not entitled to. Doesn't matter if its to an insurance company, a dealer, or another forum member, its stealing, whether you are caught at it or not.
