Last week it was hit and run. This week a guy makes a last secvond u-turn on an on-ramp. I had no time or place to go. SMACK ! Now I need a new nose, headlight cover and a headlight motor. Fresh off the boat from Zimbabwe or something like that. At least he had insurance so I'll make money by fixing it myself , but DAMN ! I'M PIZZED.
You should get a Lawyer and go to hospital. Tell the doctor that you fell pain in your shoulder and neck area. Have his insurance pay for all. This give him a lesson.

I'm pretty sure commiting insurance fraud is not a wise move. I also don't understand how ripping off an insurnace company with a fradulant claim is gonna "teach him a leason".

It will only be passed on to us in the form of higher rates!!

Great idea! I wonder why everyones insurance rates are so stupidly high. Unbelievable.
BTW, just to be on the safe side do not tell any insurance company you are ok for at least 2 weeks. Seriously, sometimes painful twinges can take a few days to a week to show up.

FYI...They stopped bringing us here by boat 'round about the early 1800's. I suppose all would have been well had it been a "European American" who did the damage...
Of course your driving had absolutely nothing to do with it..i.e..following too closely, going too fast to take evasive action, etc...

When I first read the title .. I thought you were "paging" me.
Not to put doubt on your situation, but explain this a little more please:
1. He was in front of you ...
2. He stopped to make a U-Turn ...
3. And you hit him?
What does the police report show? You party 1 or 2? What is the does "Primary Collision Factor" listed as? Did you have time to stop?
I'm only concerned that they don't have you as following too close or such. The fact that he was stopped is incidental to whether or not you had time to stop. Yes. There are a million variables, and we can what if this all day, but I just wanted more facts. I'm not an attorney. Just wanna try to help you if I can.
***Karma Report*** as I posted my reply an All State "Anti Auto Insurance Fraud" commercial came on! LOL. I know it was just thought, on Sinz part .. not meant litterally right?

First off, I won't commit fraud.
Second , the idiot made a u-turn from the off ramp onto the on ramp, which is divided by a double yellow line. There was zero time to do squat besides hit the brakes. My choices were, go into oncoming traffic ( not gonna do it ) , Blast up over a curb into solid objects ( not a good option either ) or slam the brakes and pray. The Idiot also signed a statement saying he made a "wrong u-turn". The idiot pulled out and when he realized he couldn't make the u-turn completely he stopped. AND a another point. He was making a u-turn from the oncoming lane trying to end up going my direction. So following too close is just
There was no one in front of me until he darted out in front to make his screwy-u-ey.
As far as the boat remark , I was pissed but it really describes his status in the U.S. or maybe he flew , whatever , the guy was an idiot and admitted his fault. Probably the only correct thing he'd done to that point.
