Default Interested in GHL Bullets need comments

I met Skags (CF member for dinner last night) and listened to his GHL exhaust. He participated in a group purchase and got the Magnum series with 4 tips. Just a slight bit of resonance (not bad). I understand that those have a 5" can (muffler). I am interested in the same sound but would go with the 6" can which is sold as having no resonance. I like the 4 tip design. I understand that GHL will make the Bullett with a 4 tip Magnum tip too. I think I might just keep with the Bullett and their own tips which I understand are of a higher quality chrome. Which I would like. I guess they will then be more expensive.

I would appreciate any comments about whether there is any difference in sound from the 5" versus the 6" cans on the two designs. Please share your thoughts on that issue.

Any group purchase going on ? I could not find one. The GHL set up on Skags car looked fantastic and sounded awesome.

Thanks for any input on GHL they sounded better to me than the popular Borlas.

I've got the bullets, never had the chance to compare them to the magnums, but sound is terrific, especially with Dynatech headers and Vararam intake. I figure the combination added 40-50 hp. Rubber in 2nd gear. Exhaust alone was great, but adding the headers and intake enhanced the sound tremendously.

jsdanehy,

I just ordered the 3 1/2" rolled round tipped GHL bullet system on Tuesday. There is not a group buy but there is a special going on right now. I'll look for the thread on that and get back to you.

GHL posted this sale recently. I don't know if it is still in effect, but it is worth checking out.

I have a 4 tip bullet system and never noticed any resonance until I got up to about 85 MPH. I have an A4 with 3.15 rear end, but I don't remember what RPM it was at.

Not to be picky but my CyberName is Sprags not Skags. It's been that since I worked at Borg-Warner and sorta adopted the name from working on Process Development for the production of Sprags for One-Way Clutches.

I make a public apology. . . I am very sorry. No excuses offered. Just getting old.

Default GHL Pricing

Thankyou for the kind words everybody. We don't use the words
group buy, just special pricing because there is know minimum. Special pricing can be for one person or a hundred, does not matter.

If no resonance or drone is what you want, along with a true super strong, agressive V8 sound, then the GHL BULLETS are the ones for you!

I can't begin to tell you how many people come up to me after I park my car, or after a run back in the lanes, and comment on how great my car sounds & ask what exhaust I have..

A definite #1 best mod....!
