I'm new at this and could use some help with a problem on my 97 C5.
Right after I had a wheel alignment done, the computer warning of "Service ABS" and "Service Traction Control System" flashes periodically. I don't drive the car everyday and the warning also does not come on every day. My believe that the mechanic could have touched the speed sensor cable and caused a faulty connection. Just the other day, after hitting a small bump in the road, the "Active ABS" comes on the computer screen. This leads me to believe the problem is a faulty connection, and not a $1,000.00 bill as diagnosed by the dealer. The dealer claims it's a faulty LR wheel speed sensor.
Can anybody give me any advice? I'm planning on checking the cable connection in a couple of days.
Thanks, rmgessner
