2004 Build Sheets Now Available

What additional information will the build sheet provide that's not on the window sticker for the car?

The build sheet will show a number of things not on the window sticker to include: all the Build Code/RPO Numbers for your car, Dealer Order Number, (Build) Sequence Number, Front & Rear Ship Weight, Charge Code (for the purchasing dealer), Ship Code (to dealership), etc., etc. For the enthusiast, it is a nice piece of documentation to have for your car.

I believe the last one out was 1953-2004. A new one should be out in a few months.

When I bought my 04 this spring I asked the dealer how to get a build sheet? He went to his computer and printed it out, no charge.

I could be wrong, but this is the first I've heard or read on this Forum of dealers having the capability of producing build sheets. Are you sure what your dealer ran for you was a build sheet or was it a printout of your car's history which contains some of the same info such as build codes/RPO Numbers that is on the build sheet? Many dealers will run the history info for you at no charge. Post a picture for us to see. It would be interesting to see what your dealer did print for you.
