Default Shift ***** - need opinions

OK, I'm ready to dress up the interior of my T/R Z ever so slightly. Since I shortened my stock shifter, I've got the hots for a Momo replacement of the stock ****. I'm attaching a link to a few shift ***** that I really like. I value your guys' opinions to let me know what you think. BTW, my interior is all black.

I'm considering the Aluminum, Black leather, the Air Metal or the Air Aluminum. Yeah, I know, the Air metal looks like a microphone, but I think it looks way

I'll take the black leather. A little understated, but keeps an upgraded stock look.

Just my $.02.....

I'm with Matt. I like the black one. They look pretty nice, but I like my tacky flameball

After several purchased I settled on the MGW Gripper. Take a look

It screws down even further than any other **** I tried to include momo's, and they are dead silent, zero rattles/buzzing. Not bad for $45

Tom

I had also shortened my stock shifter and put on a taller shifter **** form MGW. And then received my new shifter boot and **** from VE and it looks great!

I like those *****, but I went with a blue flameball. I still need to do the blue LED upgrade on my switches and interior lights, but it goes with my theme I am doing. Their website is www.flameball.com for any that are looking for other options as well.

I've tried (and still have) them all. I recently moved to the Hurst black classic ****. I love the look, the comfort, and the fact it doesn't get hot in the sun. There's a pic of the MGW Gripper on my website, which I like a lot, as well.

Where did you get the Hurst Black Classic ****? Do you have that **** on a stock shifter?

That's a really big flameball. It looks way too big for my hand.

The picture makes it look larger than it is. It is a little smaller than the factory ****.

I guess the shorter shifter also makes the ball look larger too ...

Neat trick those optical illusions

BTW, I dont usually care for the flame ***** but it looks pretty good in that Color Combo !

Mine is a little different...blue flame with white edging on black. It looks pretty cool at night with the blue dash lighting, radio, ac controls. When I get a chance, I am going to change all the interior bulbs to blue LED's. Should look really cool. I bought it in blue because of the theme I will be doing throughout the car.

Oh well, as they say, there is no accounting for taste.
