About 2 weeks ago I noticed a voltage warning on the DIC, but it was gone right away. For some reason I did not pay attention to the warning, but then this has been happening:
At night I notice that my lights dim and then come back to full strength. At first I thought it was just me, but then today I was driving on a back country road with no other lights and twice in the 3.5 miles that I drive the lights dimmed and then came back to full strength. So now I know it is not my eyes playing tricks on me.
The car goes in the shop Monday for CL recall, Oil Consumption, seat, etc. what should I ask the guys to look at with this?
Battery, possible bad connection usually a ground. Disconnect and clean the terminals. Since your car goes in anyway have them check out the electrical system.

OMG! <sign of teh cross>. I case you don't knwo me, that's how my nightmare started .... Low volts <JAWS music>. I hope for your sanity's sake you have a good service place and it's not anything more than your battery.
I was reading the manual today and now I am not sure if it was low voltage or charging system failure now.
I guess either one would make sense - low voltage due to charging system failure.
The car is a 2001 with few miles on it so it easily could be the battery just not performing as well anymore especially since it is stored in the winter.
As I mentioned it only happened twice so I am not sure what it is. I am going to put the key in tonight and not turnover just to see the battery voltage.
The service center that I am bringing it to has a really good reputation so I am sure they will figure it out.....
