Regarding alignment...don't be scared to let the dealer do it. I LOVE my Chevy dealer service writer.
I make sure to take care of him ($$$) and he takes VERY GOOD care of me. (<----ok..that didn't come out right but you get the point, I hope)
I don't think these guys make a tremendous amount of money so a little $$$ in there pocket here and there can do WONDERS for the bottom line on your bill. You would be amazed at how creative they can get when writing a service request.
