Decarb with Pics! :-)
While the pics are cool, it looks like I was just burning out the Top Engine Cleaner, judging by the color of the smoke. I wonder if I even had any carbon burn off. I would think I would've seen some black smoke, but as you will see, it looked more like a car running without head gaskets!
Ok, so I really did it just for the pics!
Oh, and don't miss the last pic...it's a gem!
When I first started the car there was no smoke at all. Not one bit. But after I started to feather the throttle, this is what finally started coming out on the third press of the throttle.

When the stuff started coming out, I was actually a little disappointed with the amount. At this point, when I was sitting in the car looking behind me, I was actually thinking, "This isn't that bad.

Then I heard my wife, who took these pics, say, "Oh my Gawd! That's disgusting!" (Remember, I couldn't see this because I was in the car.)

At this point, my neighbor directly across the street came out of his house.
At the same time, I was exclaiming to my wife, "Wow! This IS cool!"
Then a light, light, light wind started the smoke to move in the direction of the car. Of course, I had the top off the car!

As soon as I realized I was about to kill the interior of my car with the smoke, never mind me, I quickly threw it into reverse and go the heck out of there, as if I was running from the smoke.
I first treated my entire neighborhood to the cocktail, until I realized that this was going to take some time to burn off. So, I left my neighborhood for some nearby winding roads where I could get up more speed as I continued to "run from the smoke". Now, keep in mind that this was at 8:45am, so there were still some people commuting to work. I loved all the looks people were giving me as they were probably thinking, "Look at that idiot driving around with blown headgaskets!"
Until they got a whiff of my "new car smell." Heh-heh-heh.
OK, now I've saved this gem for last. When I finally got back, which was a good 15 minutes later after spirited driving and several WOTs, I popped the hood to see how much oil my Catch-Can caught during this time. And, this, I kid you NOT, was what my oil looked like!

OH MY GAWD!Can you imagine what the oil in my engine looks like??!! It looks like the car was running on pure white oil. I don't think the stuff broke down my oil any, do you? I think the car's cooled off by now, and you can bet I'm going to jack up the rear when I do this oil change!

By the way, the pics with the smoke don't begin to do any justice. My wife had to get the heck out of there after those pics.
Imagine the smoke near the tailpipes in Pic 4 gently wafting ALL OVER THE PLACE.
I recommend doing this procedure on a day like today with no wind, just to see this. It really is a sight to behold.
how did you install it?
Note: You don't necessarily need the remote reservoir stuff if you don't want it. I added that stuff on to try because I thought it might help to not let the collected oil sit in the bowl and have the tendency to slowly creep up the sides of the bowl.
I also changed the location of the filter since that post. I now run tubing into the battery compartment, where the filter is. I come UNDER the partition of the compartment from the back, into the filter, then back under the front of the compartment to the PCV valve, which is still in it's stock location.
