Another Thread On A Compliment
Had to take the dogs to the vet to get ready to fly them back to the Southeast and as I was cruising out of the parking lot, a soldier walks from around the corner. You could read his lips it was so clear as to what he was saying...(I had the radio on and the windows up) "Oh my god, what a sweet looking Vette." My wife looked over and said, "Did you see what his lips implied?" I smiled from ear to ear and said yes, "Everyone loves a Vette."
Later in the day, I was going to meet some friends at the local Army base (I am Navy) and the Gate guard saw me pulling up and his smile said it all. Another satisfied appreciator of the greatest car ever made! Do I miss me mean 1999 Z28? NOPE!
