I bought my first vette back in May 1998 a 1995 Polo Green A4 coupe. I drove it until I spotted a mint 1996 Polo Green A4 vert that was one of 429 that had the factory hard top option 14 months later and traded it in. I bought the 96 on July 4th 1999. I had to come back with a friends P/U to get the hard top the next day. They had it on the show room floor waiting for us to pick it up. I remember lowering the top before we drove out of the showroom and went for our first sumer night cruise. I was out on the internet a few days later trying to find out some info on my car and accessories when I stumbled upon the Corvette Forum. Since I had dial-up as did everyone else it looked like some sort of chat room since there were almost no photo's attached to threads. I lurked for a few months and finally on Sept 24th 1999 I joined.
So this past Friday I have been a member for 5 years. In that time I sold my 96 vert for a Arctic White MN6 coupe which I recently sold to a fellow CF member this past in preperation of buying a new C6. I took a test drive in a mint 03 Z and bought that instead. The C6 will have to wait a year or two. Here's a photo gallery of my last three vettes:

Along the way, I've met many new friends, discovered many new accessories and spent thousands of dollars supporting my addiction or passion.
It's been a great 5 years and I look forward to many more.
