What are the preferred screens for the front openings & side openings? Installation ease?

WELL... I got my screens on Ebay. The front screens it seems were the GM units with the plastic insert surround for $79. They came with the 3M orange tape and went in with no problems at all. The side rear and brake duct units are a different story. The cove screens require you to REMOVE the wheels and fender liners... Wont be doing that anytime soon the other two brake and muffler just stick on.

I got my brake duct, side screens and rear screens on E Bay at a reasonable price. Brake and rear easy to fit and have stayed put. the side screens are a lot more tricky. You need to removed the wheel well cover and the deflectors. The installation needs a bit of bending and shaping. The screen fits with 3M tape and it can be tricky to get it right. I've had to go in again to refix one of them.
I'd recommend the OEM screens for the front. They come with a plastic housing and I fitted mine using velcro. good fit and they haven't moved an inch. Easy to remove to clean inside.
Best of luck.

I got my rear screens at Eckler's. The funny thing is that they were sale items and going for $5 because there were only two "left side" screens. All you do is flip them over to make the "right side" screens so I picked 'em up for $10.

Many of the forum vendors sell these. I got my fog light area screens (GM part) from Fichtner Chevy. The front brake duct and side cove screens I got from LAPD.

I just installed my brake duct screens from Eckler's. Very easy and I didn't do the "screen installation" method which seemed complicated. I followed the Eckler's rec's which said to put the screen in horizontally and then use needle nose pliers to pull it into position. Very easy and no scratches on the paint. Good luck!
