Default Headlights

Some time back i had asked for help installing C5R headlights that i have ordered from WCC and still don't have, but when i was at Mid America fun feast i saw several cars with them and i like the look. But after talking with some of the owners who said they are hard to install and water gets in them i now wonder if i should even try this? At one point had seen the real C5R headlights on a web-site but can not remember which one it was?

Might want to do a search on this subject, as there have been several good discussions on this site, Z06Vette, and digital corvettes within the last 4 months or so. Might want to search under HID lights/lighting also. Some of the discussions started as HID lighting titles.

I am faced with the same dilema, so please let us know of your results/decisions. It seems that every one of the avenues for better lighting had some downfalls. I am running Sylvania Silver Stars on my Turbio Buick, and they are an improvement over conventional lighting, but they are not HID'S.
