GHL Bullet Quads here
No Resonance........nice rumble.........NICE WFO Talk........BUT
The firing order being different now......they don't sound exactly the same.....I had a 450 hp Big Block in 69.......they sounded different in those days.......BUT the GHL sounds REAL nice and looks SO FINE
I just put Borla Stingers on my vette along with two buddy's vettes. They sound just like what your describing, in my opinion. I'd recommend hearing the exhaust on a vehicle to make sure, but the Borla's really sound good.
my hearing is pretty darn good for a 66 yr old . . . . I lived in the 50s and 60s . . . I find it difficult (IMHO) to think that any Borla Stinger is going to give a LOW RUMBLE sound just step on it and run it through the gears . . not a rumble in my opinion
we all hear things differently
I have not yet heard any aftermarket exhaust sound that did not sound nice . . . they all sound great . . . just different
I have the corsa Indy's, headers and a bigger cam. when it idiols it sounds like the old cars. it gives the sound like it is ready to die out.
I love it
It is hard to get rumble without cubic inchs and also you can't idle these motors down to get the lopey rumble because of the computer. I just got back from a Good Guys Pre 72 Car Show at Texas Motor Speedway it was rumble HEAVEN.
GHLs are deeper and Corsas higher pitched. Once you add headers the tone changes. I had GHLs on stock which were fine but had to go to Corsa Tourings to tame the resonance after headers. Car sounds like a Ferrari now.
