You don't have larger sized tires or somthin' 'cause it looks like it's damn near rubbin' the tires in the wheel wells!
Please tell me, what did you do to get it down on the ground like that.
BTW, you've got THE most awesome set of rear brake air ducts I've ever seen.
Yes this is a stock dr5op with no bushings cut.. it almost looks like a photoshop picture.. but I swear it isnt.. I do have new wheels and tires.. which certainly made a difference..although the diameters are suppose to be the same.. the car was lowered five years ago.. it was my first or second mod.. let me see if I can dig up a similar picture with the wagon wheels on the car.. BTW when I jack my car up... it takes almost a day later for it to settle down to this height. also if you click on my corvette pictures... I have about 40 pictures i the gallery..seems lots a people are looking at this same picture...

here is a picture I took today after doing alittle whell well massaging... this picture was taken about 30 minutes after I jacked her down..like I said it takes a day for it to settle or a good 30 minute ride..this picture is good reference for those guys who have lowered their car jacked it down and expected it to be lower right away...
and Here is a picture taken last year with the wagon wheels with the same lowered bolts..
all the pictures in the gallery where taken within the last few weeks...
the car looks really low because the tires are in the grass... although I can barely get my finger between the tire and the rear quarter panel.. the rear tires are 295/35/19 as oppose to the 275/45/18 that were on there..

Good deal. I just need to let her settle some. I won't get as much as you in the rear becasue of your larger tires but it will get lower than it looks right now (at least I am hoping). Thanks E-T!

In the grass... with 500lbs sand bags in the trunk....
OK, I'm just jealous cause I had to cut/long bolt....

My car is five years old and has 55,000 miles on it.. and its been hauling my big *** around ... all that time.. it never looked this dramatic untill I put the CCW's on it a few weeks ago... .. the front has more clearance
IM considering putting a chin spoiler on the front.. my back stop bolts are exactly the same as Patches.. with two thread showing and the bushings still in place..... and the front bushings are still there..
I guess I owe some ppl in this thread a thank you for the compliments in between the insults.. LOL

I did mine a couple of days ago ... actually, Dirty Red did most of the work ... he let me clean up! I love the way the rear looks, 1" drop, the front was only about 1/2", but the car feels good. I can feel the benefit on the corners a bit. Do it!

OK Dave, we need some pictures now... being as we are stuck with you..
Well i did it sunday after work. What a difference! I love the look now, it makes the car look mean. The back sits perfect, but the front still seems a little high. How long will it take to settle all the way down. If it is settled already how can i get the front down more? Can that bushing be cut too?
Thanks,
Joe
Give it some time before you cut bushings. That's a more involved process and you may get enough drop to satisfy you for now. Also, give yourself some time to become accustomed to driving the car in a lowered state.

Is lowering it different amounts between front and back OK? I would think lowering the front less than the back might mess with the aerodynamics a bit. But then again, I'm no engineer, just your average idiot when it comes to cars, so my thinking may be WAY off.
Don't cut the rear bushing like in the above directions. Just leave three threads showing. If you want it lower (like below) 6 1/2 grade 8 bolts with peened nuts are better than cutting the bushing!
"peened nuts" WTH are "peened nuts?" "Did you get your nuts peened?"
