I like it if they are driving it because they like the car and not just because it might be a status symbol. My wife doesn't even mind when I wave at them, she knows it was a Corvette wave and nothing more. It is cool when they realize why you waved and wave back.

I have to be honest here.
When I see a woman driving a really hot sports car, my first thought is "Wonder why her husband (boyfriend) is letting her drive his car?"
My second thought is usually, "What a waste. I know the only reason she got that car for was just to look cool; she probably drives it like a Pinto."
Sorry. I know that's chauvinistic, but I've found it to be pretty much true over the years.

But let's be honest here, MOST women could care less about a Corvette. At best, they think it looks cool. Rarely does one know and enjoy how to drive one. Hell, I've only been able to GET my wife to drive mine once since I bought it. I think if her SUV broke down, she'd get a cab rather than drive the Vette.

Never. NEVER underestimate a lady behind the wheel of a Vette.
Particularly on autocross courses when they have Z06s. They'll clean your clock on a track and hand your ego back to you on a used High Performance Hood Seal.
