I put mine in on jackstands. Took me a while but worth it.
I'll look for that monster around town. You may need a new 02 sensore assuming you moved your rears up front and ran simms in the back.

I cleared the codes this morning and put 30 or so easy miles on it (wet roads). No check engine light. This included 4 individual start ups.
The LS1HowTo instructions mentioned a possible code just from the grease burning off from the inside of the pipes but that a few "spirited" runs should burn this grease off. I've already applied that possible fix :
We'll see! Thanx for all the help, Folks

I didn't want to blow my own horn. As a non-mechanic non-gearhead type going in, I relied on LS1HowTo.com and my ability to learn as I go. I read and reread the play/by/play upwards of 20 times over the last month. I felt like I'd done the install many times before I called the shop to reserve the lift.
But I won't pull any punches and say that I was completely confident going in. It was nerve wracking from the onset. I logged 15 hours on the lift thanx to the bolt-break-setback.
The only thing more gratifying than the new singing voice of my car is the fact that I've got, I've counted, 27 knicks and cuts on my still grease stained hands.
The curve ball with the broken bolt was NOT funny at the time. But I learned even more through it.
So it's all good

Great job Nothing more gratifying than DIY. Sounds like you had a pretty good time and are happy with the results.
I have LT's and love 'em. Have had one O2 sensor code. The code had no effect on performance and I promptly cleared the code.
I have found a great source for various grades of latex gloves to accomodate any knuckle bustin' DIY project. I was lucky not to have to put my C5 LT's in myself.
