We spend a few minutes talking about vette's etc. He thanks me for coming over and watches me drive off.

This kinda stuff rarely happens to me.
The closest i've come lately was an old guy in a 318 dodge pickup revving at me and then proceeding to tell me how my car was nice, but he'd smoke it
Yeah, those 318s were really hot, especially in 5k pound pickups
I dunno. . . I love driving the car and I occasionally run into nice people, but most of the time it's just people giving me sh*t. Is this uncommon?
