GREAT WRITE UP ABOVE!!!!!!!!!! I might use YOUR METHOD.
Snap a few pics,,,,IF you have some time as I would love to see ti as it would help me and others figure this stuff out.
nice EASY Straight to the POINT and very clear Write up. if he had pics this would make it even easier.
I installed so many things myself, Z)6 screens, shocks, sway bars, Aluminum Gauge Bezels, exhaust, Euro Tail Lights. For some reason this was confusing to me, but once i get the lights and am actually doing it, maybe it will be easier than I thought.
I hope YOU can get your lights to work. Mannnnnnnnnn
Went to work ad one of my co workers goes to UTI (automotive school) He had a multimeter on him and said he'll check it out. He hooked it up directly with no switch and they worked. So after we messed around with it some more, it turns out that the red connector that is provided didn't connect the purple wire from the fog light and the brown/white wire from the relay, even though it was crimped properly. When I put the brown/white wire directly into the old fog light connector the lights light up. So looks like I'll just hook up a blade connector and push it directly into the old fog light connector. The lights are awesome though. Very nice white/bluish light. Can't wait to hook them up properly tomorrow.
Thanks for your help guys.
2001 RCB, I'll take a lot of pictures when I'll be finishing the instalation of my lights, to make things easier for you.
