Default My first C5.......

Hey guys, I just got this 02 coupe about 3 weeks ago. I put 2000 miles on it in the first 8 days I had it. Now I'm up to about 2,600 miles, 16,600 total on car. I think the only options it is missing is the side moldings and selective suspension. Can anybody tell me what all of these options are?

I think my Mustangs are conspiring to attack it.

Just thought I would say hi. I've been a member for a long time but never posted in this section. Always stayed in "other cars"

Cliff

BTW, I was told by the salesman that it is LeMans Blue. What color blue is it really?

02 coupe

Can't quite tell from your pic, but it looks like Nassau Blue, not Lemans Blue. Years ago, that similiar color was called Lemans blue. Your salesman must have been an old fart??

Congrats on the new ride!

The actual color is Electron Blue Metallic, which was the only blue available for model year 2002. You can also tell this by looking at the RPO label on you car. The RPO code for Electron Blue Metallic is 21U and the manufacture's code is WA-779J which your label shows. Here's a link to a website that should help you with the other RPO codes for your car: C5 RPO Codes.

Hope this helps and enjoy the new ride!

Beautiful Now for the rest of the meat and potatoes. Talk about loaded. Here's the site that'll answer your questions. http://www.c5registry.com/Production/2K2.htm Now for the color, as you will see, 21U is Electron Blue Metallic. Le Mans blue didn't come out until 04.

Have a good one and now that you've got a real road rocket, the stanges have got to hit the trail.

Have a good one.

Larry (Blue Max)

WOW! 2000 miles in the first 8 days of ownership. That's what I call driving! I did about 760 miles in the first few days I owned my '01.
Enjoy the ride.

Enjoy the ride.
Live in Maryland. Drove to Rochester NY, then to Niagra Falls & Buffalo, then to Cape Cod, then a ncie ten hour trip home with hurricane (tropical storm by then) Jeane keeping me company..... the whole way! Did a lot of running at each stop. No problems in the storm. Very comfortable sitting for long periods. I'm happy.

Don't have much planned for mods. Exhaust, definately! Maybe tail lights (egg yolks) and an exhaust cover. The seats are a little dry and worn. I may do something with them if I can't get them feeling a little softer. This car won't be blue for long. I have to scuff one of my stangs and layout & shoot a flame job then reclear the whole car. Then this car is being disassembled and getting painted with House of Kolor Gold to Silver Kameleon. The front of the car will then be covered with HOK Tangerine Kandy fading into HOK Apple Red kandy on the back.

Maybe someone already mentioned this. Notice the 21U on your list of RPOs. That is the color code. 19U is Lemans Blue, 21U is Electron Blue.

Welcome to the Forum. I am not surprised that your mustangs are conspiring, there is strength in numbers and they are certainly jealous.

Don't forget to wave (do Mustang owners wave? we never used to.)

Welcome. The importatnt PRO code is Z51. That's the upgraded suspension package. No sense in me stating the obvious, after logging 2000 miles in the first 8 days of ownership I'd say your enjoying it.

Cheers

Tom
