Good deal, I will look for it. Its a good 20 miles to head into town and get Chevron gas. It sucks here in AZ as no one seems to carry high octane gas. They seem max at 91. I will stick with techron and the additive. As the problem comes and goes its back now and has been back for a while. If I get decent results I will post them here.

I like their product too! Red Line SI-1. I've been using 3 1/2 oz in each and every fill-up and a full bottle at oil change (9000 mi.). No gauge problems.
Mine was fine for the first 6 mos. I was using any brand available. Then it started acting up and I switched to Chevron and it went away. I was forced to use other brands while traveling and the problem returned. Switched back to Chevron when I got home and it's gone. That's proof enough for me!
I live just east of Tulsa, Oklahoma and when I did a search for a Cheveron near me I found one in Dennison,Texas 200 miles away. What would be the next best fuel for me to use since I am obviously not driving to Texas every time I fill up.
The right sending unit on my 2000 was replaced at 7,000 miles. Now with 22,000 miles, when the tank goes below half full, once in awhile the gas gauge will go to zero and the "check gauges" warning will be displayed. I've only used Chevron in the car. I hate to take the car in again to fix another problem that GM just can't seem to get right. (To bad there isn't an after market product like the CLB for the gas gauge!)
Drive on!
I use primarily ARCO gas and have never had any gage issues.(17,500 miles) Maybe the high price of gasoline (low-sulpher) here in San Diego is actually worth it? .......Nahhhhhh.
I always fill up at the Chevron by my house, using 93 octane. I use my car mainly as a weekend driver, around time. I've had no gas gauge issues in town.
On 2 trips that I've taken out of town since April, I've had the gauge go to E when it wasn't near empty. Another friend who owns a Vette says his gauge is the same--it only messes up on long trips.
I am a new owner of an 02 ZO6, and when I picked the car up the previous owner warned me that the fuel gauge was acting strange and to keep an eye on it. Sure enough when I was driving the gas level read half full and then it just went down to empty. I stopped at the next gas station and filled it up. Being new to the car and I had not yet found this forum, I new nothing about the fuel gauge issue. On this tank of gas the gauge read fine until it hit half full and then the same thing happened. In the meantime I found this forum, I ran the car until the tank was real empty. I then filled up with Chevron with Techron, and the problem has since went away. This forum is a great source for information.
GM recommends 91 Octane Premium minimum, but most gas stations' premium is 93 Octane, like Shell V-Power or Mobil Super. Sunoco still has both 91 (Premium) and 93 (Super).
