Default What mod next?

I've got a 2000 C5 coupe with a blackwing intake and an exhaust. What fairly simple mods could i do next. I have an extended warranty from warranty direct and dont want to void it so any suggestions would be nice. BTW i'm basically looking for cheap power (just like everyone else i'm sure)

Default simple route to performance

I am sure others have told you, but the simplest route to power (up to 50% more power) is a positive displacement supercharger. The up front cost isnt low - around 5/6k but everything else is. With a mild pressure setting you will have to make no other mods to your engine and it will not affect your gas mileage until you hit the throttle hard. The install can be made so that it is easy to return to OE standards for plausible denial if a warranty claim should come up.

Default Supercharger

Forgot to tell you - I took mine off my 98 before I sold it (wouldn't have fetched me a penny more mounted) and sold it to another sportscar enthusiast for 3/4 of what I paid for it. Try that with any other mods!!

I say you do rotors / brakes next. Before you start going really fast, make sure you can stop.

Just some information for you. By doing a mod to a vehicle will not void the warranty unless the mod is the direct case to the failure. It is called the Magnuson Moss act.

Mod as in performance mod, bling mod .. What are you looking to do? You're at a point with performance mods where it starts to get expensive and you'll want to really sit down and figure out your goals for the car before opening your check book.

Good luck,

Mark

You could lower your ride height on stock bolts or do drilled and slotted rotors with ceramic pads!

Lowered mine this weekend. Took me 1.5 hours of really taking mine time and getting use to whats underneath my car. That means you have a lot of time left on the weekend to do another MOD....

If you are concerned about your warranty I probably would not mess with the cats, unless you plan on just gutting them....at least then they are there for the "stock" apperance.

Another item you could look into would be Z06 sway bars and shocks. Will not make the car faster, but it will handle much better.
