Anyone have pics of their brake calipers painted blue? I'm going to paint mine and I looking for a rich gloss dark blue paint system.

dupli-color makes a engine/high temp. paint, which is what i used. its holding up real well, and a few guys i know have had used this also. i went with black, but they do make different shades of blue. check out this link... http://www.duplicolor.com/products/colors/highheat.html
if it doesnt work, just go to dupli-colors site and look under the engine/high temp paint.
sprays on real easy, holds up, and only costs a few bucks!!!

I used rustoleum metallic blue. It is darker than nassau blu but I like it. I painted a new set of calipers that I got off the forum. they came anodize a grey color so I didnt even have to prime them. I also painted the mounting brackets to get a little more color inside the wheel. I gave them 2 or three coats to cover them good. They have been painted for about six months and show no signs of fadeing or peeling. They look even better with the zinc coated sport brakes rotors. I have pics but something is wrong with my kodak software and I cant get into the program or I would be glad to email them. I got the paint at home dumpo and the cap is a pretty good representation of the color. I think they look really sharp on my pewter car and they almost match the metallic blue stripes I got from mike. I will post some pics if I can figure out the glitch in the software.

JRC27, I like that color of blue because it has the metal flake shine
I've seen a paint system online that's a 2 part system, but I don't know what the blue looks like. It's supposed to have that shine to it. I thinks it's called Folia-Tec caliper paint and it has a two-pack lacquer system. Anyone used this before?

i liked the painted color, but i went with the powdercoat because of its durablity....it looks like they just came out of the oven after a year. I had chips in the painted ones within 5 seconds of putting my wheels on
